Gluten Free And The Zerona LipoLaser

By Dr. Jade Malay · February 17, 2010 · Filed in Better Zerona Results, Nutrition · No Comments »

As part of the Clearvite protocol going gluten free is suggested.  When people hear the phrase “gluten free,”  some people’s palms will begin to sweat as the thought of eliminating bread, pasta, and anything with the words “modified food starch” on the label.

Well, there really is no reason to feel this way.  Today, there are several gluten free options…ya just gotta look.  I’ve found that Whole Foods has the best gluten free alternatives, but places like Sprouts and even main stream grocery stores like Tom Thumb and Kroger have gluten free choices.  There are gluten free breads, pasta, cookies, ketchup, etc., etc. There are magazines about gluten free living, a couple that I’ve looked into are  “Living Without” and “Delight-Gluten Free.”  Gluten free websites are easily found on the web…it’s just a change in thinking.

Gluten is a common food allergy.  In fact 1 in every 133 person has a gluten intolerance and may not even know it.  There are tests we offer in our offices to test for the most common food allergies.

How does this affect your Zerona experience?  A food allergy will cause inflammation in the gut. Inflammation causes blood sugar to rise and alter metabolism.

Clearvite Nutritional Protocol And The Zerona Laser

One of the BIG reasons people who do the Zerona Laser with my office get better results than other offices is our nutritional protocol while you are doing the LipoLaser.

Clearvite is a dietary supplement that is shake that you can mix with nuts, fruit, unsweetened almond milk, or water.  (We’ll give you smoothie recepies that you can try out.)  The main purpose of the Clearvite program is to enhance liver function, improve metabolism, and improve detoxification.  Your liver is the main “filter” of your body and due to the poor foods we eat and toxins we are exposed to, our livers can get “clogged” and sluggish.  Many people while on Clearvite report improved bowel movement, increased energy, and improved mental clarity.

The Clearvite program is a 21 day program that also suggests a dietary plan in order to achieve maximum detoxification and effectiveness.   The purpose of the dietary plan is to eliminate commonly allergenic foods and to eat a “whole food” diet.  A whole food diet consists of lean meats and fruits and vegetables and eliminating processed and chemically altered foods.

Adrenal Gland Dysfunction and The Zerona Laser Continued…

By Dr. Jade Malay · September 8, 2009 · Filed in Better Zerona Results · No Comments »

So forward to Modern Society where our Adrenal Glands are constantly being used and possibly “exhausted”.  If this is the case, releasing fat even with aid of the Zerona Laser may be difficult, because Your body will want to reabsorb fat to prepare for what it thinks will be a fat deficient time.  So what do we do in this situation….just give up?  Absolutely not!  If at any point in time we suspect that you may be suffering from Adrenal Insufficiency or Adrenal Exhaustion, we will test your adrenal glands, recommend natural supplements to correct the problem, and re-test you to make sure that function is restored.  And all this will be done…at no extra cost to you.  I doubt anyone else who has the Zerona Laser in the Dallas Area will go that extra mile for you.  How do we test the adrenal glands?  More on that on my next post…..

Adrenal Gland Dysfunction and The Zerona Laser

By Dr. Jade Malay · August 13, 2009 · Filed in Nutrition · No Comments »

The adrenals glands are small walnut size glands that sits atop each kidney.  The adrenals are also known as the “stress” glands. When you are under stress, whether physical, chemical, or emotional these glands go to work and secrete Cortisol into the body.  Cortisol retains fat.  This safety mechanism was put in our body to reserve fat stores and prepare for periods of potential lack of food availability.  Think about how life was back when man first emerged on the Earth foraging for nuts and berries, burning lots of calories to survive and all of a sudden you’re being chased by a sabertooth tiger…Cortisol is released to use as little fat as possible.  Well, that was great back then, but how is this harmful in our Modern Day society???  Answers to that and how this may affect the Zerona laser experience in my next entry.

Be Your Best,
