Gluten Free And The Zerona LipoLaser
As part of the Clearvite protocol going gluten free is suggested. When people hear the phrase “gluten free,” some people’s palms will begin to sweat as the thought of eliminating bread, pasta, and anything with the words “modified food starch” on the label.
Well, there really is no reason to feel this way. Today, there are several gluten free options…ya just gotta look. I’ve found that Whole Foods has the best gluten free alternatives, but places like Sprouts and even main stream grocery stores like Tom Thumb and Kroger have gluten free choices. There are gluten free breads, pasta, cookies, ketchup, etc., etc. There are magazines about gluten free living, a couple that I’ve looked into are “Living Without” and “Delight-Gluten Free.” Gluten free websites are easily found on the web…it’s just a change in thinking.
Gluten is a common food allergy. In fact 1 in every 133 person has a gluten intolerance and may not even know it. There are tests we offer in our offices to test for the most common food allergies.
How does this affect your Zerona experience? A food allergy will cause inflammation in the gut. Inflammation causes blood sugar to rise and alter metabolism.

What To Do To “Reset” Your Body When Your Body Plateaus
Many times when your body plateaus in weight loss, something needs to be done to hit the “reset” button of your body. The “Lemonade Diet” can do just that. It allows your body to decrease sensitivities from commonly ingested foods, so your body can start metabolizing foods correctly. Below is the outline of the Lemonade Diet. These commonly listed ingredients can be found in just about any grocery store. Grade B organic maple syrup can be found at more health conscience stores such as Whole Foods.
The Lemonade Diet
This is a modified fast that is conducted for 3 to 5 days. This is not intended to reduce caloric intake for weight loss but to decrease any sensitivities from commonly ingested foods. A minimum of three days is required for the best results. During this fast, do not take any oral supplements, but continue taking all prescription medications.
The drink is made up of lemon and/ or lime juice and the pulp, water, grade B organic maple syrup. The recipe is listed below:
To one gallon of water add 1 cup of lemon or lime juice, 1 cup of grade B organic maple syrup and a small amount of cayenne pepper. These amounts can be changed according to how tart or sweet you like it.
In order to keep your blood sugar stabilized you must take sips at least every 15 minutes, sometimes more depending on your particular situation. If you are truly hungry, you can eat one food, a vegetable that you rarely eat. Do not add any condiments to the vegetable.
Hot green tea is permitted to drink throughout the fast.
Be prepared to urinate and drink all day.
If you get tired, lightheaded, or start to have any negative symptoms you should make your solution sweeter and drink it more often. If symptoms persist then you should call the office.
You should drink one cup of herbal laxative tea each night to keep the bowels moving.
Usually one gallon of the solution will get you through one day and you may need to make some more for night time and keep some by the bed in case you get hungry in the middle of the night.

So I Have Lost The Inches, Now What…?
After the Zerona Lipo-Laser treatment, people are often confronted with the question of now what do I do? We always strive to educate people about healthy lifestyle choices, one of those is exercise.
Exercise may seem like a bad word or worse yet, grounds for fighting, but I wanted to take this opportunity to give some examples that people can use to keep the body healthy and continue to burn fat.
I am going to give a range of calories burned per hour for different body types:
Golf 236-345 (yes you have to walk)
Gardening 295-431
House cleaning 207-302
Mowing 325-474 (again, you have to walk)
Walking 148-206 (with dog is even higher)
Bowling 177-259
This is just a short list of simple activities, some fun, some not so fun that can help the continued fight against body fat.
Since I keep discussing the notion of fighting, it is worth mentioning that boxing can burn between 700 to a 1000 calories per hour. Now that is fat burning.
It is worth noting that the Zerona Lipo-Laser does its job without any effort, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep the body going.
Next time I will cover some more lifestyle changes and use the worst four letter word of them all, D-I-E-T. . .

Why Detoxification Is So Important To Get Best Results With The Zerona Laser
Your natural detoxification processes are so important with the Zerona laser because this is your body’s way to DUMP THE FAT out of your body. You see the laser allows the fat cell to open up, but it’s your body’s job to sweep up the fat and get it out of your body. When I screen people to make sure they are a good candidate and will have excellent results, one of my questions is “How many bowel movements do you have in a day?” Sounds silly, I know, but this is crucial. If someone tells me they have a bowel movement once a week or every third day….then I do not allow them to be in my program! This person would not have good results. Its important to me that every person is successful. If you experience at least 1 bowel movement per day, then I can work with you. We have a specific supplement regimen that makes sure your detox systems are working well so we can set you up for success! If you are considering the laser and are not having at least one bowel movement per day, my best advice is to increase your water intake. Dehydration is the main cause for constipation.

Why People Feel Better After Using the Zerona Lipo Laser
Dr. Barnes in his discussion about the Zerona Lipo-Laser illustrates how much better people feel while using the laser. He also re-emphasizes the non-invasiveness of the procedure based upon the non-surgical nature. He describes the “mommy makeover” procedures that he does as a surgeon and now offers it without surgery and people are more willing to do it. And confirms again that the procedure is for men and women.

Digestion is One of the Keys to Success. . .
The Zerona Lipo Laser requires several systems to be working for it to achieve the results that you want. We have touched on the adrenal glands before, so lets talk about digestion in general. Sometimes people fail to realize the importance of a properly working digestive system. For example if you eat three regular meals a day, you should have three bowel movements as well.
Your bowel movements play a vital role in your results. The Zerona is designed to liquefy the fat and then this liquid seeps into the extracellular space. After this it is transported to the digestive track by the lymphatic system. So a simple process of elimination(no pun intended) shows us that if the bowels are not functioning, either will the lymphatic system. You cant allow one to be backed up, or the other will also be affected. And you will not get results.
Some people have one or fewer bowel movements per day, and that is just not effective or healthy. In my office, I will not accept a patient that has a system not operating healthily. What I am saying is that you need to be having two or more movements per day.
So the question begs, what can I do if I am not having at least two bowel movements per day? You can try a cleanse with plenty of raw fruit and vegetables (more fiber), hydrate yourself, massages specific to the GI tract, and also decrease caffeine or other diuretics (unless prescribed, then you should check with your physician).
If these don’t work you can be evaluated for other conditions that may affect the GI tract and see if those get your body moving.
Remember, this is all done for you to achieve the best results. Contact our office if you would like more information.
Thanks
