The Health Benefits of the Zerona Lipo Laser

By Dr. Jade Malay · October 30, 2009 · Filed in Zerona in the News · No Comments »

Dr. Frank Ryan discusses the word of mouth excitement of the Zerona Lipo-Laser.  He also discusses the health benefits of losing the inches to motivate them to gain a healthier lifestyle.  He mentions the pathway by which you lose fat which is the contents of the fat cells are excreted naturally out of the body.  He finishes by confirming that the process is pain free and that he understands peoples skepticism, but after seeing it with his own practice he understands it.

Digestion is One of the Keys to Success. . .

By Dr. Jade Malay · September 14, 2009 · Filed in Better Zerona Results, Nutrition · No Comments »

The Zerona Lipo Laser requires several systems to be working for it to achieve the results that you want.  We have touched on the adrenal glands before, so lets talk about digestion in general.  Sometimes people fail to realize the importance of a properly working digestive system.  For example if you eat three regular meals a day, you should have three bowel movements as well.

Your bowel movements play a vital role in your results.  The Zerona is designed to liquefy the fat and then this liquid seeps into the extracellular space.  After this it is transported to the digestive track by the lymphatic system.  So a simple process of elimination(no pun intended) shows us that if the bowels are not functioning, either will the lymphatic system.  You cant allow one to be backed up, or the other will also be affected. And you will not get results.

Some people have one or fewer bowel movements per day, and that is just not effective or healthy.  In my office, I will not accept a patient that has a system not operating healthily. What I am saying is that you need to be having two or more movements per day.

So the question begs, what can I do if I am not having at least two bowel movements per day?  You can try a cleanse with plenty of raw fruit and vegetables (more fiber), hydrate yourself, massages specific to the GI tract, and also decrease caffeine or other diuretics (unless prescribed, then you should check with your physician).

If these don’t work you can be evaluated for other conditions that may affect the GI tract and see if those get your body moving.

Remember, this is all done for you to achieve the best results.  Contact our office if you would like more information.

Thanks

The More You Put In, The More You Lose!

By Dr. Jade Malay · August 10, 2009 · Filed in Better Zerona Results, Zerona Laser · 2 Comments »

Hi!  Marci here!  I am the Zerona Lipo-Laser specialist here in our office.  I get the pleasure of answering all the patients’ questions regarding the Zerona Lipo-Laser.  I also get to answer the emails regarding the Zerona Lipo-Laser!

I get to correspond with people from all over the world-that are interested in the Zerona Lipo-Laser.  I have gotten emails from Sweden, Sudan, Bahrain and many more!  It is very exciting.

The questions that I get asked the most are “What do I have to do-to make the laser work?  Is it effortless?  Is it magic?  Well the answer to these questions is “you get out of the Zerona Lipo-Laser experience-what you put into it!!!”

No its not magic!!  No it is not effortless!!   Though it is close to effortless as possible-there are still a few things that you need to do to get the best possible outcome!  You need to follow the instructions that our doctors give to you.  Drinking your 64 oz. of water per day.  Walking moderately paced on our treadmill for 15 minutes after your treatment. Taking your supplements.  Making sure you eat enough fiber-that’s why we recommend 2 apples per day!  Making sure you eliminate the fat properly.

The Zerona Lipo-Laser is an amazing technology, but it does require you to put forth some effort.  Although the effort is definitely minimal, compared to other weight loss methods.

Fiber is Your Friend. Especially when using the Zerona Lipo-Laser

By Dr. Jade Malay · July 10, 2009 · Filed in Zerona Laser · 1 Comment »

Fiber is your friend!  Eat more fiber.  We have all heard these statements.  But we ask ourselves “Why??”

Dietary fiber-found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes (beans)- is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation.  When using the Zerona Lipo-Laser it is of utmost importance to make sure that you are eliminating the fat as its getting released into your body.  And the way to do that properly is to “Poop!”

Sorry I had to be so harsh, but it really needs to be said!  Poop- there I said it again.  That is why we make sure that all of our patients are pooping enough each day.  That is also why we recommend that you eat 2 apples a day and make sure that your dietary fiber intake is where it should be.  That way, when the Zerona Lipo-Laser melts the fat inside your body- it will be eliminated properly and efficiently.  This will ensure that you get a great response form the Zerona Lipo-Laser!

But fiber can also provide other health benefits as well, such as lowering your risk of diabetes and heart disease.

So what is dietary fiber?

Dietary fiber also known as roughage or bulk, includes all parts of plant foods that your body cant digest or absorb.  Unlike other food components such as fat, carbohydrates or proteins-which your body breaks down and absorbs-fiber isn’t digested by your body.  Therefore it passes virtually unchanged through your stomach and small intestine and into your colon- and gets eliminated.

There are two main types of fiber-insoluble and soluble fiber.  Insoluble fiber is fiber that does NOT dissolve in water.  Soluble fiber DOES dissolve in water.

Benefits of a high fiber diet:

  • Prevents constipation
  • Lowers risk of digestive problems
  • Reduces risk of heart disease, diabetes and diverticular disease

So eat your apples-increase your fiber intake!  Poop! Poop! Poop! And have the best possible Zerona Lipo-Laser outcome possible!!!

Why Are Chiropractors Using The Zerona LipoLaser?

By Dr. Jade Malay · July 8, 2009 · Filed in Zerona Laser · 1 Comment »

Many people are under the assumption that chiropractors only “crack backs” and that’s it.  Well, that may have been your grandfather’s chiropractor, but the Modern Chiropractor does deal with back pain and so much more.

The Zerona LipoLaser fits so well into the Modern Chiropractor’s office because we are concerned with overall health and fitness and insuring that the body is working efficiently, free of disease, and in balance.  Chiropractors study nutrition as part of the academic training that is requirement for the Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  Proper nutrition enhances the Zerona LipoLaser’s results and allows you body to eliminate fat more efficiently.  Probably the most important reason why Chiropractors and the Zerona LipoLaser work so well together is that Chiropractors are strong advocates of treating the body naturally without any invasive procedures.  There are some occasions that invading the body is necessary, but if you can avoid invading the body you can avoid infection, scar tissue internally, scarring from incisions, down time recuperating, and when things go disastrously wrong…death.

Chiropractors like me have been using “cold” lasers for many years and understand their multiple uses and advantages.  Laser technology is ever increasing.  If you’d like to learn more about how lasers can help different health conditions from back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome to other conditions such as bed wetting and wound healing, feel free to contact our office and I’ll consult with you about your health care options.

CURVA, A Supplement From The Manufacturers Of The Zerona Laser To Enhance Your Zerona Experience, Now Available With Dr. Malay.

By Dr. Jade Malay · July 6, 2009 · Filed in Better Zerona Results · 4 Comments »

CURVA™, contains a unique blend of active ingredients designed to assist the major systems used by the body to remove and properly process the liberated lipid material subsequent to ZERONA™. Once released, the fatty material is absorbed by lymphatic vessels and transported to local lymph nodes, from there the material is eventually released into the circulatory system so that the debris can be processed by the liver. CURVA™ is designed to ensure that the lymphatic and circulatory systems, as well as the liver, are functioning at optimal and beneficial levels. CURVA™ possesses a natural blend of Niacin and Ginkgo Biloba. Niacin is a powerful oxidant that helps support the mitochondria; specifically, helps support the electron transport chain which is the major photochemical target of the ZERONA™. Ginkgo Biloba is a beneficial vasodilator, increasing blood flow to the area being treated; thus enhancing the transportation of nutrients to the cell promoting a stable intracellular environment. ZERONA™ uses natural intracellular pathways; therefore, CURVA™ has been designed to promote a stable cell environment to enhance the formation of the transitory pore and the release of the stored fatty molecules.

Also within CURVA™ are the active ingredients Green Tea Extract and LCarnitine, both of which will help in the transportation and breakdown of the fatty debris. The lymphatic system is the vehicle that will drive the movement of the fatty material away from the fat storing cell and towards the closest body of lymph nodes for processing. Lymph nodes posses specialized immunologic cells known as macrophage, which are capable of breaking down cholesterol and triglyceride molecules using special lipases. Green Tea Extract has been proven to promote a healthy and stable immune system and is therefore used in CURVA™ to help with the function of macrophage cell. L-Carnitine is an essential molecule for the transportation of fatty acids into the mitochondria so that fatty-acid oxidation can be carried out, a process very important for the ZERONA™ laser.

Finally, once released from the lymphatic system the fatty components will enter the circulatory system where they will be transported to the liver for processing. CURVA™ was formulated to enhance the transport of the fatty molecules within the circulatory system by increasing the concentration of blood transport molecules known as high-density-lipoproteins (HDL). Ingredients such as niacin and omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) are in CURVA™ and will increase HDL levels while lowering LDL and VLDL levels. The rise in HDL levels will clear the fatty debris at an accelerated rate improving the results of the ZERONA™. The ZERONA™ promotes an incredible biological response forcing the release of the stored fatty material; however, it is highly dependent on the function of the lymphatic and circulatory systems and the liver. Supplements, although not necessary to demonstrate reductions, can enhance tremendously the results observed following a ZERONA™ treatment. ZERONA™ can change lives; CURVA™ is there to support the change.

A Cancelled Flight, Damaged Luggage, the Zerona Laser, and Lowered Cholesterol

By Dr. Jade Malay · July 1, 2009 · Filed in Zerona Laser · No Comments »

You may wonder with a title like this, what my last disastrous business trip has anything to do with the Zerona Laser.

Traveling these days is as unpredictable as the weather or the stock market.  You have to be ready to accept whatever the airline employees, baggage handlers, or the weather throw at you and accept the good with the bad.

My last business trip did exactly that…after a cancelled flight and having my baggage chewed up beyond recognition by an obviously underfed conveyor belt, I was tired, irritated and feeling deflated by the day’s events.  After showing the “baggage mangled lady” the leftovers of my luggage, she offered me a plastic bag!  Her supervisor quickly stepped in and directed another employee to find me a piece of luggage.

Much to my surprise when he returned, he brought me a BRAND NEW piece of luggage that was even better than the original one sacrificed to the luggage gods…a completely unexpected surprise.

So what does this have to do with the Zerona laser????

A wonderful surprise  “side effect” doctors are finding with the Zerona laser is….lowered cholesterol!

This is so new that studies are still being performed to make sure these great results can be verified with all types of people who suffer with high cholesterol and want a prescription-less way to control their cholesterol.

Lasers are the way of the future.

We’ll keep you posted with the latest developments of this…and other surprises.

Where Oh Where Shall I Zap my Fat!?!?

By Dr. Jade Malay · June 24, 2009 · Filed in Zerona Laser · No Comments »

What areas of my body shall I work on?

Well the obvious answer to that question is : The areas that bother you the most!

Or: The areas that have the most fat!

You can use the Zerona LipoLaser on any area that has subcutaneous fat (that’s the fat that you can grab)!

Well we all know the obvious places that one may want to focus on, but here are a few places that you may not have considered!!! (You can thank me later for making you self-conscious of these areas!  : )

The Zerona LipoLaser can be used to lessen fat pockets under the eyes.

It also can be used for the unsightly crêpe “turkey” neck that some of us are lucky enough to inherit.

How about “back of the arm” fat!

Or “cankles”-you know the area between your calves and your ankles…some of us have quite the expanse there!

Also the dreaded “back fat” or “bra bulge”!

Love handles, Badonka -donk butt, and inner thigh jiggle

And what about “Man Boobs!”

Or “Beer Belly?”

The list goes on and on.  The point that I am trying to make is that the Zerona LipoLaser is great for so many areas.   It is also wonderful for smoothing the skin. Lessening the dimpled look from cellulite.

It also works on removing any fat pockets left after a liposuction surgery!

You can use the Zerona LipoLaser for more than one area at a time- as long they are regional proximal (Big words huh!)  As long as there in the same area.  Example stomach/thighs or back/butt!  You get the idea!!

So make sure you subscribe to our blog, because you will get advanced notice when we run specials for multiple areas!!!
